this stuff works!! it turns water off of wood like the feathers on a duck. try it and you will buy it. works great on old hickory type furniture that gets hit by rain when the wind blows. makes it look like new!

HD-80 actually worked!
HD-80 did strip two layers of solid stain from my 11-year old deck. It worked really well. The customer service is also top-notch. I surely will order again next time.

Finally some nice weather to apply the Woodrich Deep penetrating timber oil to my new redwood siding. We used the Western Cedar color and the results were amazing with no runs or overlaps.
Woodrich Oil Stains Hit the Mark
We are general contractors, with experience in all phases of construction. Including heavy equipment, which for this application, a new wood plank equipment trailer treatment. Several coats when new is performing to the highest standard. Staining, dirt, do not penetrate as significantly as other lesser coatings. Do not use waste oil, diesel, kerosene or on your wood plank equipment trailer beds. It is slick, dirty, and dangerous when raining or icy.
We also used Woodrich stain on our new plywood deck scaffolding planks, to seal and protect, extending the life of the equipment long term. We put several generous coats, both sides to seal the plywood thoroughly. Scaffold sometimes has to be out in the weather for extended periods. Protecting it is critical.

Fantastic product for many wood stripping applications
This product made my life much easier. I used it to strip my mahogany front door and the frame of a mirror. All I needed to do was sand the wood when it was dry and apply stain.

Great products
I used the Woodrich heavy duty stripper and Citralic products and they worked great! The deck I worked on hadn’t been stripped and cleaned for years and was a mess. I had to returned to a few boards after stripping and do some spot cleaning which was expected. I recommend these products for tough jobs.

Purchased the HD80 to strip
Purchased the HD80 to strip the old stain off of my cedar sided house, it worked great. Very easy to use, just sprayed it on, waited a few minutes and just washed it off with the garden hose. I will finish my house with western cedar timber oil. Thank you.

Exceeded My Expectations
After stripping and applying the wood brightener, I went over the deck and railings with a 5-1/2″ electric orbital palm sander using 60 grit sand paper. This removed the last bit of old stain that had been weakened by the stripper and smoothed out any rough spots in the wood.
The Brown Sugar Timber Oil was very easy to work with and apply. It’s very thin, is absorbed into the wood quickly, leaves no run marks or over brush marks. If you get it on your hands it’s not sticky and simply wipes off with a rag.
In all it took me 3 days to finish the project working by myself. My deck is 12 foot by 16 foot with railings. One day to chemically strip and power wash, One day to sand and prep. One day to brush on the Timber Oil.
The pine deck looks new, turned out great.

A Really Great Product
It was a job, but the results look great
Staining each of the 70+ 2X2 lattice boards was quite a bit of work but it was worth the effort. My only misgiving was that I over estimated the coverage ratio and am left with a few extra gallons of stain. Hopefully I will not have to redo the project for another two years.
As for the company, Woodrich is extremely friendly and a pleasure to work with.

Thanks for the sample kit. Unlike one of your competitors, you provided an ample amount of stain in each bottle for testing and retesting. I’m going to wait another 30 days before retesting because the pressure treated wood scraps used need to dry out more.

Never had any peeling with this product and our 20 year old deck drinks it right up. When it first goes on it looks quite patchy (it is 20 years old!) but after a few days and it looks awesome. Have not used the EFC-38 & Citralic yet but I think I will give that a try next time.

I love this stain as it always goes on so easily on pressure treated pine. Make sure you apply at least two coats for the prettiest deck you’ll ever have. At first it looks dark brown, but after a few weeks, it lightens to a red cedar appearance. Make sure you thoroughly clean your deck before applying stain.

applied a natural look sealer. The finished product looks great , and the sealer is doing its job. Because of the type of sealer I use, I know I will be doing this process again, but by using this product again, it will be much easier. I highly recommend it.
Stain is just the right
Stain is just the right thickness and was easy to apply with a deck staining mitt. Come in a plastic jug rather than a metal can so pours out easily with no mess. Color looks great! Would definitely buy again.
Super Easy
I was really dreading doing my 20′ x 15′ deck, two 10′ x 6′ tanning beds and 3 chairs. They all turned out looking great with a lot of compliments from people. All items were really weathered bad. Woodrich went on easy and the wood really soaked it up. Everything looks new once again.
