The brightener was the icing on the cake. I also played around with my neighbor’s fence that was in bad shape with it being totally gray and even some black mold in certain areas. No doubt it could take care of that with a little more work and time. It actually removed most of the gray and mold…Another application and it would be back to the normal would color. Great product and I am looking forward to applying your Timber Oil…I want to wait a few days to let the fence completely dry out.

I did my deck two years ago and that experience guaranteed that I would only use Woolrich for my cedar fence, and I ordered enough product to redo my redwood deck. I used Timber Oil western cedar stain on both. It looks great.

Fantastic product for many wood stripping applications
This product made my life much easier. I used it to strip my mahogany front door and the frame of a mirror. All I needed to do was sand the wood when it was dry and apply stain.

Great products
I used the Woodrich heavy duty stripper and Citralic products and they worked great! The deck I worked on hadn’t been stripped and cleaned for years and was a mess. I had to returned to a few boards after stripping and do some spot cleaning which was expected. I recommend these products for tough jobs.

After stripping old stain with HD-80 and brightening with Citralic wood brightener, deck was ready for the amaretto Timber Oil. Applied with pump sprayer and stain was absorbed into the cedar deck with ease. Over the years, i have used many stains – Sikkens, Benjamin Moore, and ready seal. None compare to the Woodrich product.

I purchased the deck cleaner and brightened kit and the timber oil in Western Cedar. I chose that color based on samples that were sent. The products were easy to use and gave a great result. The only complaint is that the color on the deck was much more red than the sample that was sent. I had tested it on the same deck wood and made sure I mixed the sample thoroughly. All in all I feel the product is very good and we are happy with the result and getting used to the red color. Next time we will probably go with a different color. Customer service is very good.

I purchased the stripping kit, applied it, pressure washed the old stain off and finished with the neutralizer/brighter and the wood was back to original bare wood state. Unbelievable

The cleaner and brightener really made the deck look like new and I was really impressed. There was some furring of the wood, likely due to my scrubbing, so I sanded the deck and railings after the deck dried. I would definitely purchase this product again. Great product at a great price.

We purchased the Complete Wood Cleaning and Restoration Kit for the deck at our mountain house. After 12 years of little to no attention it was looking quite sad. We followed the directions on the kit and our deck looks so much better. And it wasn’t a back breaking experience at all. We choose not to use the power sprayer for fear the wood would splinter, but instead used a stiff bristled brush. A little more work, but the deck looks and feels great. I will certainly not wait another 12 years before doing this again because it makes such a difference and I am sure will help preserve the deck as well.
My only suggestion might be not to take on this job in the heat of summer….took a little more effort to scrub quickly before solution dried.

This product saved my fence
I just put up a new cedar fence a couple months ago. It had been raining here like crazy and my brand new fence was growing black mold. After some internet research, I opted to try to clean it using oxyclean. Well, to my surprise the oxyclean turned my fence a dingy shade of gray.

I just put up a new cedar fence a couple months ago. It had been raining here like crazy and my brand new fence was growing black mold. After some internet research, I opted to try to clean it using oxyclean. Well, to my surprise the oxyclean turned my fence a dingy shade of gray. All of the red spots in the cedar that made it so pretty turned black. I was so disappointed and ready to rip all the boards out and put new ones in.
Well luckily I continued my research online and found this wood brightening product. I had debated between this one and some others, but opted to try this one based on some of their claims and money back guarantee. And in the end I couldn’t be happier. See the attached before and after.
Applying the product was easy. I didn’t need a whole gallon of it, so I just did some conversions to figure out how much of the powder i needed for a quarter gallon, mixed it with warm water and sprayed. I did a small section at first to make sure I wasn’t yet again doing more harm to my fence than good. But it all looked ok, so I went for it.
Now I can barely tell where the the oxyclean was used.
